Recreation Ground ‘Project Gold’ Update

The Recreation Ground ‘Project Gold’ is now completed.

All the wickets have been relaid and the outfield has had drainage installed and been levelled.  It is already noticeable that the new drainage is working with little surface water lying on the surface after heavy rains.

This project has only been made possible by the generous grant of £47,500 by Sport England, supported by significant grants and donations from Waverley Borough Council, Farnham Town Council, Local Councillors and Members of Rowledge Cricket Club and by club funds.
